Location: Albuquerque, NM
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Position Type: Contract (5 Weeks)
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a short-term contract assignment in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and supporting the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient conditions, including vital signs and clinical changes
- Assist residents with daily nursing care and support individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Collaborate with CNAs, RNs, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated care delivery
- Follow infection control guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted LPN license required
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
