Clinical Laboratory Technologist
Location: Bronx, NY 10451
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule: 35 Hours/Week | 5 Days/Week
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join a fast-paced healthcare laboratory environment in Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical laboratory skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within established clinical and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized clinical laboratory testing and analysis
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory results
- Follow quality control and safety procedures in compliance with laboratory standards
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting of test results
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care services
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited Laboratory Technology program
- Valid New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (092) with Primary Source Verification
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, testing methodologies, and quality standards
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Speak, Read, and Write)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- BLS Certification
Certifications & Licensure
- NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (092)
- Clinical Lab Scientist certification preferred
- BLS preferred
