Job Type: Contract / Full-Time
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts (Holiday coverage required)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to take on a Charge Nurse role within a Skilled Nursing/Long-Term Care setting. This position requires strong clinical expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care while supporting daily unit operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing care for assigned residents/patients
- Conduct patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to nursing staff and CNAs
- Serve as a clinical resource for the care team
- Assist with administrative and operational duties as needed
- Ensure adherence to patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality standards
- Support patient and family education initiatives
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Maine or Compact State)
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Current BLS/BCLS certification
- Prior experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
