Schedule: 4x10s (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | No Weekends
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technician to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role requires strong expertise in cardiac catheterization, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile technique to ensure high-quality patient care and procedural success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, procedure trays, and specialized cath lab equipment
- Assist physicians during procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, atherectomy, valvuloplasty, IVUS, and stent placements
- Perform patient preparation including EKG lead placement, skin prep, and sterile draping
- Calibrate and monitor hemodynamic systems to ensure accurate readings
- Operate power injectors and digital imaging (cine) systems
- Manage imaging data storage, retrieval, and transfer
- Assist in emergency situations to support patient stabilization
- Support sheath removal and vascular closure procedures
- Troubleshoot and maintain cath lab equipment
- Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supply levels
- Deliver patient-centered care and communicate effectively with patients and caregivers
- Follow all safety standards, hospital policies, and clinical protocols
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab or invasive cardiovascular setting in an acute care hospital
- Hands-on experience with cath lab scrub procedures required
- Peripheral and neurovascular experience preferred
Education/Training:
- Completion of 6–12 months in a CVT-accredited program OR equivalent hands-on experience in a cardiac vascular lab
