We are seeking a Senior Manager, SiC New Product Development, to lead hands-on execution of SiC MOSFET new product development programs from concept through formal product release. This role ensures disciplined execution of the 5-phase APQP process, cross-functional coordination, qualification execution, and product readiness.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Own day-to-day execution of assigned SiC MOSFET NPD programs from concept through product release using the 5-phase APQP framework.
- Develop and maintain detailed program plans including scope, milestones, deliverables, ownership, and dependencies.
- Track execution versus plan and proactively identify schedule, yield, qualification, and product readiness risks.
- Serve as the primary NPD interface with internal and external cross-functional teams.
- Drive definition of CP, FT, and QC test strategies with technology teams.
- Execute qualification plans and review reliability data to ensure product robustness and release readiness.
- Drive creation and review of preliminary datasheets, final datasheet inputs, and supporting documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to NPD engineers and support transition to sustaining teams.
Required Qualifications:
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8 years of semiconductor industry experience including SiC power devices.
- Hands-on experience with SiC new product development and qualification.
- Working knowledge of APQP and semiconductor NPI processes.
- Strong technical execution and program management skills.
- Deep understanding of SiC MOSFET device behavior, qualification, and reliability.
- Data-driven problem-solving and risk management capability.
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
