Special Holiday Hours: Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve will be 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Job Description
The Medical Assistant with Radiology/X-Ray experience will support clinical operations by performing routine medical assisting duties along with basic radiology-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office or outpatient setting and be comfortable assisting providers, supporting patient care, and handling basic diagnostic imaging workflows (no hands-on radiography required unless licensed).
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and prepare patients for appointments and diagnostic procedures
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and patient information
- Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments
- Support radiology workflow (e.g., preparing patients for X-ray, explaining procedures, helping with positioning if permitted by licensure)
- Perform administrative tasks including scheduling, chart preparation, and EMR documentation
- Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and uploading of imaging orders into PACS/EMR systems
- Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies
- Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA policies
- Assist with patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations
- Communicate with radiology staff, providers, and patients professionally
- Provide general clinical support based on provider needs
Qualifications:
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred
- Experience in radiology, imaging, or X-ray workflows required
- Basic knowledge of positioning, imaging procedures, or radiology terminology
- Familiarity with EMR and PACS systems a plus
- Current BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and patient-care skills
- Ability to work scheduled hours including modified holiday shifts
