Job Title: Payroll Technician
Location: Everett, WA (Fully Onsite)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Technician to process biweekly payroll for 950 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll, timesheets, and exception data.
- Research discrepancies, correct errors, and reconcile payroll reports.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation.
- Respond to employee and management payroll inquiries.
- Process payroll deductions, leave adjustments, and supplemental pay.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and payroll deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of payroll processing and payroll software experience.
- Knowledge of payroll accounting, FMLA, and FLSA.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- Strong numerical, reconciliation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PeopleSoft, Trapeze, or UKG.
- Experience in government, public transit, or unionized environments.
