Navigator Wellness Group is a licensed New Jersey cannabis manufacturer operating under an annual Class 2 Cannabis Manufacturer license issued by the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission.
We manufacture and package cannabis products for our own brands and licensed brand partners throughout New Jersey.
The Role
The Compliance, Systems & Fulfillment Manager will take ownership of Metrc, ERP systems, regulatory documentation, compliance processes, and systems accuracy.
This role is designed for an experienced cannabis professional who can independently manage regulated systems, identify discrepancies, maintain inspection readiness, and improve the processes that support compliant manufacturing and fulfillment.
The position is primarily on-site, with some flexibility for remote work when responsibilities can be effectively completed off-site.
Key ResponsibilitiesMetrc & Seed-to-Sale Compliance
- Take complete ownership of daily Metrc activity and compliance.
- Manage packages, tags, transfers, waste, adjustments, manifests, and related records.
- Ensure Metrc records accurately reflect authorized facility activity.
- Review and reconcile Metrc records against supporting documentation.
- Investigate discrepancies, rejected submissions, and system errors.
- Maintain Metrc procedures, controls, audit trails, and review schedules.
- Coordinate Metrc activity related to testing, transfers, and product movement.
- Serve as the internal Metrc subject-matter expert.
- Train designated employees on applicable Metrc procedures.
ERP & Systems Administration
- Take ownership of the company’s ERP and operational systems.
- Maintain accurate system records, workflows, user access, and permissions.
- Support ERP systems similar to Distru, Cannix, and other cannabis-focused platforms.
- Ensure ERP records remain consistent with Metrc and approved documentation.
- Identify and correct system errors, duplicate records, and data inconsistencies.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with software support when needed.
- Create and maintain procedures for recurring system tasks.
- Support system improvements, updates, and employee training.
NJ-CRC Compliance
- Maintain day-to-day compliance with applicable NJ-CRC rules, regulations, license conditions, and company procedures.
- Monitor NJ-CRC communications and regulatory updates.
- Maintain a compliance calendar covering licenses, renewals, inspections, reports, training, testing, and other deadlines.
- Maintain organized records for NJ-CRC inspections and regulatory reviews.
- Support announced and unannounced inspections.
- Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries, corrective actions, and compliance concerns.
- Identify compliance gaps and escalate issues requiring ownership or outside support.
Testing, COAs & Documentation
- Coordinate testing-related documentation with licensed New Jersey cannabis laboratories.
- Track testing schedules, sample submissions, results, and COAs.
- Review testing documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Escalate missing, inconsistent, failed, or incomplete testing records.
- Maintain documentation related to retesting, remediation, product holds, and corrective actions.
- Support documentation review before products are approved for release.
Fulfillment Support
- Support fulfillment by ensuring orders, product information, manifests, and related documentation are accurate and complete.
- Help confirm that products are properly approved and documented before shipment or delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams and logistics partners to resolve system or documentation issues.
- Maintain fulfillment records and identify recurring process issues.
- Support improvements to fulfillment procedures and documentation.
SOPs, Training & Audits
- Maintain current SOPs, compliance procedures, training records, and required logs.
- Support SOP revisions, employee acknowledgments, and retraining.
- Conduct routine reviews of Metrc, ERP systems, compliance files, testing records, and documentation.
- Document deviations, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Track corrective-action deadlines and follow up on completion.
- Prepare compliance and systems reports for ownership.
- Recommend improvements that increase accuracy, efficiency, and inspection readiness.
What We’re Looking ForRequired
- Five or more years of experience in cannabis compliance, seed-to-sale systems, regulated manufacturing, quality assurance, ERP administration, or a related field.
- Advanced, hands-on experience with Metrc.
- Ability to take complete ownership of Metrc activity and compliance.
- Experience with ERP or cannabis operational systems.
- Strong understanding of compliance documentation, audits, inspections, SOPs, and corrective actions.
- Experience working in a regulated cannabis or other controlled environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work primarily on-site in a New Jersey cannabis manufacturing facility, with some remote-work flexibility.
- Must meet applicable age, background check, and NJ-CRC registration requirements.
Preferred
- Direct New Jersey cannabis compliance experience.
- Experience with Distru, Cannix, or similar cannabis ERP platforms.
- Experience supporting NJ-CRC inspections or regulatory reviews.
- Experience coordinating cannabis testing and COA documentation.
- Experience with fulfillment and logistics documentation.
- Experience with GMP, HACCP, ISO, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or laboratory quality systems.
- Experience with internal audits, deviations, corrective actions, or CAPA processes.

Pay: $60,525.54 - $70,000.00 per year
