We are partnering with a highly regarded, growth-oriented CPA firm in Woodbury, Long Island to identify a Tax Director with a strong High-Net-Worth (HNW) and generalist background.
This is a visible leadership role with a clear path forward for someone who wants to step beyond execution and into real influence across clients, team, and firm direction.
The Opportunity:
- Lead and advise on complex HNW individual, trust & estate, and closely held business tax matters
- Operate as a true generalist, working across a diverse client base and planning strategies
- Serve as a key advisor to top clients, delivering proactive, high-level tax guidance
- Partner with firm leadership on growth initiatives, client strategy, and practice development
- Mentor and develop staff, helping elevate overall team performance
- Step into a clear Partner-track role based on performance
What We’re Looking For:
- 10–15 years of public accounting experience
- Strong background in HNW tax, including individuals, trusts & estates, and closely held entities
- Generalist mindset with the ability to operate across multiple areas
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead engagements
- Interest in business development and long-term firm growth
- CPA required
