Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator for to support our quality systems and operations in a fast-paced manufacturing/distribution environment. The position will start out on a temporary basis with an opportunity for direct hire for the right skill set.
This role focuses heavily on data entry, email communication, and data management, and requires a solid understanding of ISO 9001 or other quality management system standards.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large sets of quality and operational data, managing email workflows, and ensuring documentation accuracy to support audits, inspections, and internal quality processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into Quality Management Systems (QMS), ERP platforms, spreadsheets, and internal databases.
- Manage QA-related email communications, including drafting, responding, and organizing high volumes of quality and compliance-related correspondence.
- Classify, organize, and archive emails and digital records in accordance with internal procedures and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Track and log quality incidents, non-conformances, CAPAs, and customer complaints, ensuring timely follow-up and closure.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining organized, accessible, and complete documentation.
- Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to ensure quality data and documentation integrity.
- Assist in maintaining controlled documents, SOPs, and work instructions using approved templates and naming conventions.
- Generate reports and summaries of quality metrics, data trends, and audit readiness documentation.
- Help coordinate training documentation and compliance tracking for QA and operations personnel.
- Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and escalating process inefficiencies or data discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in quality assurance, document control, or administrative support—preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong proficiency in data entry and management, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to compose clear, professional, and concise emails.
