Overview
The Program Manager is a senior level leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple healthcare related projects from early planning and design through completion. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills, along with the ability to take full ownership of program delivery.
The role includes leading capital planning, managing the design process, and acting as the primary representative for the client throughout construction. Success in this position requires close coordination with consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders, as well as the ability to effectively engage with healthcare leadership and end users.
Experience / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Construction Management or similar
- 10 years of project/program management experience
- 5 years of healthcare construction or facilities experience
- Ability to pass standard background and screening requirements
- Willingness to pursue additional training and development
Core Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of healthcare design and construction processes
- Ability to develop accurate project scopes, budgets, and schedules
- Experience leading projects from feasibility through occupancy
- Proven ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively
- Skilled in contract negotiation and consultant/vendor management
- Understanding of construction contracts, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel capabilities
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with internal stakeholders to define project scope, capital budgets, and timelines
- Lead RFP processes and selection of architects, consultants, and vendors
- Negotiate and manage contracts, including change orders and invoicing
- Develop and manage project schedules and phasing plans
- Oversee project teams to ensure alignment with budget, schedule, and quality goals
- Track project financials, including buyout, commitments, and cash flow projections
- Support procurement and coordination of equipment, furniture, and technology
- Prepare regular project reports to keep stakeholders informed throughout all phases
- Ensure projects meet safety, compliance, and quality standards
Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
