What You’ll Do
- Serve as a trusted tax advisor to construction clients including general contractors, subcontractors, real estate developers, and specialty trades
- Lead and grow a construction-focused tax practice, including oversight of compliance, planning, and advisory engagements
- Advise on complex issues such as:
- Accounting methods (PCM, CCM, hybrid)
- Revenue recognition and long-term contracts
- Cost segregation and capitalization
- Multi-state and SALT matters
- Entity structuring and M&A tax considerations
- Drive business development through existing relationships and new market opportunities
- Mentor, develop, and lead high-performing tax professionals within the construction vertical
- Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives, growth plans, and cross-service opportunities
Who You Are
- CPA required
- 12 years of progressive tax experience, with significant focus on construction clients
- Current Partner, Principal, or Managing Director
- Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and its unique tax and accounting challenges
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build, lead, and influence
- Collaborative leader who values accountability, quality, and long-term relationships
