Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Management Specialist to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the USMC support programs.
In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of Marine Corps maintenance policies to optimize equipment readiness, analyze technical data, and streamline administrative workflows.
The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with extensive, hands-on technical experience managing complex logistics databases and working closely with military leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary advisor on Marine Corps maintenance and maintenance management programs, ensuring all workflows align with current Marine Corps Orders.
- Manage, track, and analyze equipment readiness data to generate actionable maintenance and supply reports for leadership.
- Utilize advanced logistics and data management systems to oversee parts requisitions, equipment scheduling, and technical publication updates.
- Maintain internal digital tracking systems, knowledge bases, and collaborative portals to streamline information sharing across teams.
- Assist in preparing the unit or organization for formal logistics and maintenance inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of direct experience utilizing GCSS-MC (Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps) and TDM Catalyst.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and MS Office Suite .
- Subject Matter Expertise: Comprehensive, authoritative knowledge of the operating procedures of the Marine Corps maintenance and maintenance management programs.
- Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active SECRET level security clearance.
- Preferred Background: Prior military service as a Marine Corps Maintenance Management Specialist or Maintenance Management Officer is highly preferred.
