Summary
You will serve as an Engineer/Scientist in the CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICE of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 through GS-14.
Duties
Identify technical capability deficiencies aligned with Naval Innovative Science and Engineering program objectives.Develop long-range strategies, plans, policies, workforce guidance, templates, and other supporting program documentation to lead the development and execution of the NISE program.Ensure NISE proposals are technically sound and are not duplicative of efforts being proposed or performed by other DoD components, Federal and State agencies, private and public organizations, and industry.Administers and monitors the execution of programs and projects through the review and analysis of reports, formal and informal communication and periodic visits to execution sites.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Education Requirement, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05-GS-11 or ND-02) or grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
