This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates.

You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) if applying for the 0801 series. You must be a Registered Architect (RA) if applying for the 0808 series.
Your license or registration must be held in any State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
NOTE:
YOU MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF YOUR CURRENT LICENCE OR REGISTRATION WITH YOUR APPLICATION PACKAGE. *A copy of a wall certificate that does not show your current status will not suffice to meet this requirement.
- In addition to the Basic Education Requirements and Selective Placement Factor, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Acting as a Design Manager on design actions, including Architect-Engineering (AE) contract actions and In-House design efforts; 2) Writing scopes of work, developing Independent Government Estimates, and performing/leading negotiations on AE actions; 3) Coordinating with discipline directors for staff assignments, measuring workload capacity, and prioritizing workload based on risk; 4) Leading teams of engineers/architects; and 5) Developing and/or analyzing workload projections.
