This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision:

1) Repairing tracks, drives, rollers, sprockets, hoisting units and other working attachments on all
equipment including but not limited to cranes, bulldozers, and tractors; 2) Repairing clutches, transmission systems, differentials, final drives, generators, governors, reduction gears, hydraulic systems, hydraulic and pneumatic braking systems, marine water jet propulsion steering systems and marine outdrive systems, cooling systems electrical systems,
booms and similar units; 3) Performing repairs and overhaul of major systems such as supercharged and turbo
engines, turbine engines, automatic and manual transmissions, and interrelated subsystems. Must be able to determine the malfunction, best repair methods, and repair or modify faulty components in various systems as directed by customers and manufactures alterations; 4) Reading and interpreting wiring and hydraulic schematics, sketches, and equipment
repair orders (EROs), technical trade publications, and blueprints.
