You will serve as a EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST in the Expeditionary Maintenance Division (EMD) within the Expeditionary Maintenance Center (EMC) of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.

Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Collecting information about assigned parts and/or subassemblies of construction and automotive equipment and providing information to personnel to solve equipment problems; 2) Making recommendations for supply solutions that affect costs, timeliness, and effectiveness of repair and overhaul projects; 3) Utilizing computer operator systems to research information on parts (i.e. stock checks, manufacture cross references, Standard Procurement System, CD Rom systems, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Construction Equipment data files, Excel, MICROSNAP, LOGICOM, and Word Processing); 4) Assisting in developing technical procurement packages including quality assurance, test, and inspection requirements; and 5) Reading blueprints, equipment diagrams, and vehicle schematics. **NOTE** This information must be clearly supported in your resume.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/1600/equipment-services-series-1670/
