Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will serve as a technical consultant for the Injury Compensation Program (ICP) and Drug Free Workplace Program (DFWP).
- You will coordinate with Equal Employment Opportunity, Training Department, Comptroller, and Safety Office to provide advisory and training services.
- You will interpret laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance with procedures for operations and program maintenance of the Federal Employee Compensation (FECA) program.
- You will gather facts and apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to program related issues and studies in order to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the Federal Employee Compensation program.
- You will organize and deliver briefings and training to upper-level management and employees to encourage understanding and implementation of centralized Federal Employee Compensation policies and procedures.
- You will use negotiation and persuasion to explain and justify managements’ actions.
- You explain rules and procedures to employees and help them understand their rights and obligations.
- You will communicate, orally and in writing, to formulate and present arguments and advisory opinions and prepare case documents.
