The Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA), founded in 1891, is a nonprofit organization whose objective is to "promote, influence, and assist in financing the varsity athletic programs of the midshipmen of the United States Naval Academy" in accordance with the policy of the Superintendent of the Academy. Through an intercollegiate athletics program that is one of the largest in the country, every midshipman is afforded the opportunity to compete in athletics at the Division I level. The emphasis on physical fitness is borne out in the first line of the mission of the U.S. Naval Academy: To develop midshipmen morally, mentally and physically.Summary The Game Day - Ticket Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ticketing operations on event days. This includes supervising ticket sellers, resolving customer issues, managing ticket inventory, and ensuring a seamless ticketing experience for fans and guests. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist in the entire game day operations layout including ticket sales, order processing, gate attendant and ticket scanning.Independently direct all pre-game and in-game planning to ensure ticket windows and services perform satisfactorily.Supervise, schedule, and manage the performance of part-time ticket office staff.Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service issues related to ticketing.Independently and accurately troubleshoot and resolve guest issues.Oversee gate operations and scanning processes to ensure fast and secure guest entry.Take care of set up and tear down for basketball, wrestling and lacrosse home games.Greet guests in a polite, professional, and friendly manner.Work with other members of the team in order to ensure smooth operational efficiency.Identify areas for growth and enhanced engagement.QualificationsExperience, Education, & Certification(s)High School diploma required.Preferred, but not limited to, Sport Management, Communication and Marketing MajorsExperience supervising part-time or seasonal staff.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesMust be at least 18 years of ageMust have the ability to work evenings and weekendsBasic knowledge of Paciolan (Pac7 and SB Client preferred)Excellent people-management skills with extensive experience managing employees at various levels.Effective customer service skills.Additional Eligibility RequirementsMust be eligible to work in the United States of America, without sponsorship.Must be eligible to work on a military installation, including a willingness to submit to a background screen.Must possess a valid driver’s license.Work Conditions/Physical Requirements This job requires employees to function in a high activity and heavily crowded indoor/outdoor sports venue.Exposure to adverse weather conditions and seasonal temperaturesComfortable working on feet for long periods in a crowded, fast-paced environment.Hand and finger dexterity (e.g., handling mobile devices)Repetitive hand and wrist movements Visual acuity (e.g., reading screens)Hearing ability (e.g., hearing and interacting with fans)Minimal lifting requirements (usually under 10–15 lbs)Basic upper body movement Occasional bending or twisting Cognitive focus and mental staminaTravelN/APay Range$25 per hour.
