Position Summary:
Under general supervision of the Facility Director, The Assistant Project Manager (APM) – Construction supports the planning, coordination, and execution of healthcare construction and renovation projects. This role assists in managing project scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and organizational goals. The APM works closely with internal stakeholders, clinical staff, architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver projects that support high-quality patient care in safe and functional environments; while upholding the principles of the organization vision, mission, and values. Always maintain confidentiality of all privileged information.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Associates of Applied Science in Construction Management or equivalent. Two to three years of experience in construction management, buildings and infrastructure preferred. OSHA Certification preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual skills in English and Navajo language preferred.
• Must maintain a valid unrestricted and insurable driver’s license.
