Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or (NM-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience includes: 1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage weapon systems acquisition; 2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level procurement policies; 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command; 6) Coordinating and assigning work for technical or non-technical personnel based on assigned program initiatives and agency needs; 7) Supervising and performing official supervisory responsibilities for assigned subordinates; and 8) Functioning as a liaison with internal and external contacts to ensure assigned program needs are addressed and program goals are met.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
