This position is in the United States Mint, Office of Strategy and Performance, Office of Data, Analytics, and Program Performance. As a Supervisory Program Manager, you will be providing technical, programmatic, and administrative direction for a wide variety of important and highly complex projects, duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications:

Specialized Experience for the GS-15:
You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service or in other public or private sectors, that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
-Applying program management principles to direct the day-to-day operations of an organization.
Examples of such experience could include:
- Consulting with, making recommendations to and implementing solutions for executive level staff; OR
- Planning, organizing and directing operations to include growth management, cost control and savings; OR
- Researching and interpreting directives or other authorities on governmental regulations; OR
- Analyzing and interpreting established and proposed policies and procedures; OR
- Planning, organizing, directing, and/or leading the work of others performing data analytics and data mining or work comparable in nature.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-15 you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
Responsibilities:
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-15. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.- Defines, directs, manages, and evaluates the following enterprise-wide functional areas: 1) Strategic Planning 2) Performance Analysis and Management, 3) Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, and 4) Workplace Modernization.
- Provides technical and programmatic direction, oversight, and leadership for a variety of enterprise-wide programs, projects, and assignments in connection with the management of the Mint
- Develops policy, procedures and processes for the Mint through the Office of Data, Analytics, and Program Performance, and integrates those policies with inter-bureau plans
- Coordinates and consults with senior management staff of other agencies and external stakeholders regarding major initiatives, actions accomplished, milestones to be achieved, and significant problems or issues
