This focus gives everyone at Nava the opportunity to do work that is meaningful, impactful, and deeply connected to public good.Position summaryThe Business Services and Operations Associate supports the Business Services and Operations team in delivering a range of core functions, including travel logistics, employee engagement coordination, procurement support, and day-to-day operational and administrative support.This role plays a key part in supporting Nava’s remote employees by supporting improvements to our operational culture and ensuring seamless experiences across our national team. The Business Services and Operations Associate sets high standards for efficiency, follow-through, and service, incorporating feedback from the wider team to help strengthen Nava’s culture and mission-driven work. This role must be located in the DC area.What you'll doProvide support for internal mailing, shipping, and product tracking services, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentationContribute to Nava’s financial health through accurate budget tracking, reporting, and timely expense reimbursementsManage and triage Eden tickets related to setup, travel, expenses, office access, and general employee inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective resolutionCoordinate logistics for internal and external contacts, including travel arrangements and room scheduling for meetings and eventsAssist employees with travel coordination, including bookings, reimbursements, and itinerary managementSupport employee engagement activities, such as gifting initiatives through Goody and other vendorsContribute to the onboarding experience by coordinating swag distribution and providing orientation supportOffer logistical assistance for training, onboarding sessions, and virtual events to promote consistency and engagementManage and review initial setup budgets to ensure compliance with company policy and spending guidelinesReview, process, and track vendor invoices to ensure timely and accurate paymentsSupport procurement operations and reconciliation efforts to maintain budget accuracyAssist with budget tracking for events, programs, and engagement initiativesApprove home office setup requests and review expense budgets submitted by other teamsCollect and review receipts for the expense tracking system, ensuring compliance and data accuracyPartner with the billing team to notify them when expense reports are ready for reviewContribute to cross-functional business services projects and process improvement initiativesMaintain service trackers, vendor contracts, and documentation to support operational continuityProvide day to day administrative support to the Business Services and Operations team, including scheduling and coordination of internal and external
