What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coffee Truck Cashier/ Assistant Barista position at Nava Coffee Co?
Nava is a vintage Airstream coffee trailer serving high-quality espresso drinks with a welcoming, elevated aesthetic. We pride ourselves on fast service, friendly energy, and creating a space people look forward to visiting. We are looking for individuals wanting a seasonal position from May to October. We will reopen in March after the winter months.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate drink orders
- Operate POS system and handle cash/card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized service window
- Assist with drink handoff and drink prep support
- Restock cups, syrups, lids, and supplies
- Help with opening and closing procedures
- Represent the NAVA brand with professionalism and positivity
Qualifications
- Friendly and confident interacting with customers
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Able to work early mornings and weekends
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-space environment
- Previous coffee or food service experience preferred (but willing to train the right person!)
Pay: $14.00 per hour
