ASSEMBLER
Job Title: ASSEMBLER
Department: MANUFACTURING
Reports To: MANUFACTURING MANAGER
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Utilize assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists
· Gather necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
· Assemble and test components per instructions
· Maintain a safe and clean working environment
· Comply with all applicable procedures, rules, and regulations
· Document actions by completing required production and quality forms
· Other duties as responsibilities necessitate
Job Qualifications: US Citizenship is required per DoD requirements
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
· Mechanical experience related to component assembly and test
· Forklift experience
· Work independently and in groups to identify and resolve issues
· Positive attitude with team mentality
US Navy experience a plus
Salary: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Physical and Mental Efforts:
General: Extensive mobility required, some moderate to heavy lifting. Position requires ability to lift objects weighing more than 50 pounds occasionally; walking and standing for long durations; see objects closely; and hear normal sounds with some background noises. Position requires ability to concentrate with some interruption and attend to tasks for 45 to 60 minutes at a time.
Environmental and Working Conditions:
Industrial shop setting. Dust, dirt, metal debris from manufacturing will be encountered. Moderate levels of noise will be encountered.
