Position Summary
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. This role provides safe, compassionate patient care to individuals of all ages while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and NVRA policies.
The technologist supports efficient office operations, maintains accurate documentation, promotes exceptional customer service, and strictly adheres to MRI safety and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a valid state license in radiologic technology
- Proficiency in Radiologic Technology, with expertise in operating advanced imaging equipment
- Solid knowledge of Medicine, Radiology, and Medical Imaging procedures
- Strong communication skills, patient care abilities, and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills for handling medical imaging systems and patient records
- Experience in an MRI-specific role is a plus
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance
