Nature Coast Health Care is looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant with primary care office experience to support our growing practice. If you’re compassionate, organized, and love helping patients feel their best, we’d love to meet you.
- What You’ll Do
Room patients, record vitals, update medications, and prepare charts
- Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments
- Administer injections, vaccines, and perform EKGs or other point-of-care tests
- Collect and process lab specimens accurately
- Maintain EMR documentation and ensure patient records are complete
- Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments
- Provide patient education on preventive care and medication instructions
- Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for use
- Support the front office team as needed with scheduling or phone calls
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in a primary care or family medicine office
- Familiar with EMR systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to quality patient care
