Summary:
Humanitary Medical Center is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting healthcare providers by ensuring smooth and efficient clinical operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care (Clinical Duties)
- Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Assist physicians during examinations
- Administer injections or medications
- Collect lab specimens (blood, urine, etc.)
- Perform lab tests
- Pre-visit must do 48 hours in advance
2. Patient interaction
- Greet and room patients
- Explain procedures and answer basic questions
- provide instructions for medications or follow-up care
- ensure patient comfort and confidentiality
3. Administrative duties
- Update and maintain patient records (EHR/EMR systems)
- Handle phone calls, messages, and patient inquiries
- Complete forms and documentation (Pap Smer and PRP)
4. Insurance and Billing
- Verify Insurance Information
- Assist with coding and billing process
5. Clinical Support and Coordination
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments
- Stock exam rooms with supplies
- Coordinate lab tests, referrals, and follow-ups
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
