What You’ll Do
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to professional standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues efficiently in the field
- Perform seasonal system adjustments, start-ups, and winterizations
- Test systems for coverage, efficiency, and proper function
- Adjust timers, controllers, and zones based on property needs and seasonal changes
- Communicate clearly with clients and provide recommendations when needed
- Assist with core aeration services, including operating aeration equipment and ensuring proper coverage
- Support turf and ornamental teams as needed during peak season
- Maintain clean, accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time on site
- Take responsibility for equipment, vehicle, and job site professionalism
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in irrigation, landscaping, or related field OR clear mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Attention to detail and pride in doing the job right the first time
- Good communication skills with both team members and clients
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in all conditions and handle physical labor
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience installing and repairing irrigation systems
- Knowledge of controllers, valves, wiring, and system diagnostics
- Ability to read irrigation layouts or schematics
- Familiarity with water conservation practices
- Irrigation certifications or relevant training
