Irrigation / lawn care technician position available! We are seeking an employee who has a passion for working outdoors with an interest to learn/expand skills to perform various tasks related to irrigation repair/maintenance, lawn care maintenance, and occasional landscaping. This role requires punctuality, reliability, working outdoors, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Irrigation responsibilities include start-up of systems, RPZ repairs, troubleshooting leaks, general repairs, and estimate preparation.
- Perform routine lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing hard surfaces to maintain residential and commercial properties.
- Maintenance activities such as planting, weeding, mulch installation, and pruning shrubs and trees.
- Operate various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for lawn maintenance and sprinkler system repairs.
- Accept direction willingly.
- Complete assignments efficiently with a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Assist team leader, if asked, to maintain equipment in good working condition through regular inspections and minor repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in irrigation systems, lawn care maintenance, and plant/shrub maintenance.
- Irrigation experience required.
- Familiarity with lawn care practices and techniques is important.
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely; mechanical knowledge is valuable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Transportation to company location is required.
