We are currently seeking a Jr. Maintenance Mechanic for our busy Operations/Facilities Department.
Roles and Responsibilities: Work with both Porter and Facilities Mechanic in the completion of daily work orders as well as new construction projects. Learn all aspects of Porter's position to fill in for Porter during his absence. Work with Facilities Mechanic to perform all aspects of Building Maintenance including Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry repairs throughout the facility using previously learned skills required for the position.
Work Schedule: 8 Hours per day/ 5 days per week / occasional overtime.
Physical Requirements: Standing and walking long distances throughout the facility all shift long. Must be able to bend and flex repeatedly, must not be afraid of heights and ladders, and learn the safe and proper use of arial Man-Lift. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Qualifications: Prior construction trade experience desired. Must be organized, detail oriented, and computer literate. Must speak and understand English.
