Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations based on preferences and experience levels
- Educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, effects, and proper dosing to promote safe and responsible usage
- Answer customer questions and provide accurate product information to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions, and order processing
- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies
- Maintain well-organized merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked neatly and accurately
- Assist with inventory-related tasks, including restocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and reporting low inventory levels
- Upsell relevant products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service through clear communication, active listening, and professional phone etiquette when assisting customers in-store, over the phone, or with pickup orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor environment
- Collaborate with team members and management to support daily store operations and customer satisfaction
- Support both customer-facing and operational responsibilities, assisting in various areas of the store as business needs require
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
- Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Comfortable engaging with customers and building relationships
- Ability to learn and retain product knowledge
- Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus and help serve a diverse customer base
- Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions preferred
- Ability to perform basic retail math accurately, including cash handling, discounts, totals, and inventory counts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform stocking duties
