Job description
Natural Healing Pet Care is a busy specialty practice offering high quality, personalized care that focuses on integrative medicine. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented exam room assistant to join our caring team. This position requires regular interactions with clients--strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude are required. Veterinary experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate. Position will be 30-35 hours/week.
Essential tasks and desired qualifications
- Greet and room patients and clients
- Obtain patient histories/maintain accurate records
- Assist in exams rooms including appropriate and safe patient handling
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Maintain clean, organized, and stocked exam rooms
- Assist other staff members outside of your daily responsibilities as needed to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment
- High attention to detail with the ability to think clearly and multitask in a busy environment
- Exceptional client education and communication skills
- Self-starter and performs with little direct supervision; committed to follow-through and accountability

Compensation starts at $15 per hour and is negotiable depending on experience.
