Job Summary
The Production Support position is critical to the success of the automated packaging operation. This is a fast paced and physically demanding position. The production support position is responsible for assisting the bulk automation production department in a variety of ways: wrapping pallets, staging finished goods, and assisting with janitorial and sanitation efforts. This position must maintain a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to co-workers and fellow team members.

Responsibilities
- Palletize and wrap finished product
- Label pallets of finished product
- Pull pallets of finished product from production area to warehouse staging area
- Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and free of debris
- Provide Machine Operators with all materials and supplies needed for packaging
- Perform all tasks in a manner that promotes safety
- Assist in other warehouse tasks such as inventory, housekeeping, and warehouse organization
- May be assigned to other warehouse duties as needed
Although this is a general outline of job responsibilities all employees are expected to be ''hands on'' and do whatever it takes to get the job done and make the company thrive.
Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent is required 2-5 years of warehouse experience required
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices in food production preferred
- Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and concisely
- Has good attention to detail; accuracy and thoroughness is a must
- Basic computer skills required Manual pallet jack and electric pallet jack experience preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
- Ability to work with others in a fast-paced team environment
- Flexibility with working hours to accommodate warehouse needs
- Must be reliable and on time every day
- Able to work in seasonally warm or cool environment
- Able to assist in other departments as needed
- Exposure to 5s and Lean manufacturing methodologies preferred
- Must have current Colorado Driver's License
Physical Requirements
- Must have the ability to lift and pull 70 lbs, repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able walk upstairs while carrying heavy load
- Requires the use of both arms and both hands with full range of motion
- Must be able to bend at the waist and knees, twist, push and pull on a frequent basis
- Must be able to kneel, squat, and climb as needed
- Must be able to reach overhead and away from the body
- Must be able to walk and stand for at least 90% of the time
