Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for safely moving all incoming and outgoing inventory while following facility rules and safety guidelines. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime by keeping production areas stocked, organized, and ready to fulfill orders efficiently.
A Sample of the Role:
- Material Handling amp; Movement: Load/unload trucks, move materials in/out of warehouse, and stage work-in-process at production lines.
- Accuracy amp; Documentation: Check deliveries against paperwork, review orders, record stock movements with scanners, and perform cycle counts.
- Production Support: Prep and secure finished goods, assemble/break down packaging, and support production schedules.
- Safety amp; Equipment Use: Operate forklifts/pallet jacks, keep equipment in good condition, and follow safety/GMP guidelines.
- Organization amp; Teamwork: Keep storage areas orderly, maintain a safe work environment, and assist with additional duties as needed.
Your Natural Ingredients to Win:
- 1 year of experience operating a STAND-UP Hi-Lo preferred, but not required
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to effectively communicate with all members of the team
- Ability to speak, write, read, and follow instructions in English
- Experienced working in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Self-motivated and team-oriented
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, squat, push, pull and twist over surfaces for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in cold temperatures (proper gear supplied by NCF)
