Responsibilities
We are seeking a METRC Manager to direct and oversee METRC activities for all their operations. Description: The METRC Manager is a vital agent between daily field operations and compliance who reports directly to the Director of Operations within our Compliance guidelines.
The core responsibilities of this position are to ensure the METRC is accurately reflected in Michigan's track and trace system to match the internal inventory records, per the rules and regulations promulgated by the Marijuana Regulatory Agency (MRA). Duties and Responsibilities:
Comprehensive and thorough understanding of METRC, it's functionality, and how it relates to our ground operations.
- Comprehensive and thorough understanding of ground operations, data collection systems, and point of sale system.
- Consistently analyze METRC and identify errors or non-compliant entries. Revise data that is submitted and escalate if there are discrepancies.
- Enter all required production movements into METRC within the required time from harvest through transfer.
- Create manifests for all transfers, room transactions within value stream, to sale
- Effectively operate all tech hardware that is required. Responsibilities

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Organized
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience using a cannabis POS system
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to accurately detail and develop written and/or verbal standard operating procedures
- High level of accuracy - attention to detail is critical
- High level of organization
- Previous cannabis experience
- Knowledge of Michigan cannabis regulations
- Prior experience using Metrc – Expert
- Prior experience working in inventory control
- Experience creating and implementing processes
- Knowledge of Michigan cannabis regulations
- Prior experience using METRC
- Possesses a high level of critical thinking
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness
- Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment to consistently maintain standards, accuracy, safety, and communication

- Basic math skills

- Must have a solid understanding of cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws
Additional Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must pass any and all required background checks per state cannabis regulations
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
- Good documentation, inventory, and organization skills
- Ability to keep to a tight schedule
- Successfully demonstrated collaboration in a team environment
- Excellent verbal interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members
