Natrabis Grow Technician-

Shift: M-F 8am - 4:30pm; occasional weekend necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Works with Director of Cultivation and Managers to execute & complete assigned tasks, projects and expectations of the Grow Department planned production schedules per Natrabis mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
  • Maintain open communication with management team and co-workers
  • Report employee issues or product situations to insure transparency and timely resolution
  • Abide by the companies and grow department’s safety policies
  • Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information and understand applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures
  • Harvesting: cutting plants; trimming cut plants; removing flowering tops; weighing and inventory data input into the electronic inventory tracking system.
  • Curing: hanging and dry-racking flowers; monitoring curing process and climate control; labeling; weighing and inventory data input.
  • Preparation and packaging of all cannabis products will be needed during peak times; including extraction products.
  • Operating and maintaining cultivation systems/equipment: monitoring, calibrating, running and maintaining lighting, irrigation, climate control and other cultivation systems; stocking and handling production inputs and supplies; sanitizing and cleaning growing areas, cultivation workspaces and tools.
  • Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to; state compliance, security protocols, and access protocols.
  • Ability to get along with others and maintain positive attitude
  • Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences, especially with direct supervisors and co-workers
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees
  • Ability to work independently throughout a workday with given directives
  • Any other tasks as assigned

Previous manufacturing/laborer experience (previous growth experience preferred) Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.

  • Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness
  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment
  • Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Natrabis
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, lifting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: VERY LABOR INTENSIVE. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds , may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching

Additional Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must pass any and all required background checks per state cannabis regulations
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • 3-5 year's of experience in growing technologies, such as lights, irrigation, soil, nutrients, and more (preferred)
  • Ability to execute techniques consistently
  • Good documentation, inventory, and organization skills
  • Ability to keep to a tight schedule
  • Excellent verbal interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members
  • Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate a scale
