JOB TITLE: SALES ASSISTANT
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Sales Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our Sales Team by ensuring efficient order processing, managing key administrative tasks, and maintaining strong communication with our key retailers. This position will assist two Account Executives with all aspects of Account Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales and Account Management
· Assist Account Executives with department store and off-price accounts
· Assist Account Executives in all aspects of the sales process, including market preparation and administrative support
· Manage accuracy of EDI transmissions and communication of corrections needed with buying offices
· Manage accuracy of orders in system
· Partner with Sales Operations regarding bulk order tracking, shipping/delivery updates
· Communicate any delivery delays and PO extensions that may be required confirming with account and alerting warehouse
· Manage all copy and image requests from customers including the management of SRS scheduling for photoshoots
· Manage and run all retailers weekly style selling reports
· Recap and present weekly retailer results (style selling, sales/stocks, etc.) for assigned accounts as needed
· Work with SRS/Showroom Manager to organize and send necessary SRS for retailer photo shoots and provide requested copy information by deadlines
· Daily communication with clients and completion of administrative/back-office requests
· Manage all drop ship and marketplace orders
· Coordinate and attend market week appointments
QUALIFICATIONS
· Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented and outgoing
· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, highly detail oriented and meticulous
· 1-2 years related experience and/or training in wholesale apparel sales
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, NuOrder, Power Point a plus
· Salary is based on experience. $50,000.00 - $55,000.00.
