Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of a Principal or Designee, provides a variety of instructional and/or clerical support to teachers. Works in classroom settings to support teachers by providing instructional support to individual or small groups of students. Assists teachers and staff in development and use of materials to enhance student learning.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires a High School diploma or GED and requires the employee to meet the para-educator criteria of 48 College units, or an associate's degree or higher, or pass a qualifying assessment test. Transcripts or a Para-educator certificate must be attached to the application to be considered for this position. To schedule an assessment test, please contact Human Resources at 916-567-5470 or via email at hr@natomasunified.org. To be considered for hire, candidates must meet the minimum requirements including a successful interview and successful reference checks. Please note that we require three references, one of them must be your most recent supervisor (current or most recent past). An Employee Entrance Evaluation (at the District's expense) will also be required.
