Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of a Principal or Designee, perform a variety of activities in support of special education instructional programs. Assist teachers and staff in development and implementation of programs. Incumbents must be able to work with special needs populations and provide support to multiple grades, and classes.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires a High School diploma or GED and requires the employee to meet the para-educator criteria of 48 College units, or an associate's degree or higher, or pass a qualifying assessment test. Transcripts or a Para-educator certificate must be attached to the application to be considered for this position.
