Requirements / Qualifications
This position requires a High School diploma or GED and requires the employee to meet the para-educator criteria of the No Child Left Behind Act which is either two years (48 units) of study at an institution of higher education, or an associate's degree or higher, or passing a qualifying assessment test. Transcripts or a Para-educator certificate must be attached to the application to be considered for this position. To be considered for hire, candidates must meet the minimum requirements including a successful interview and successful reference checks. Please note that we require three references, one of them must be a supervisor (current or past). TB and Fingerprint Clearance (at applicant’s expense) will be required prior to employment. Employee Entrance Evaluation (at District’s expense) will also be required.
