Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive short- and long-term sales strategies that align with corporate goals and market dynamics.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing internal and external sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Identify new markets, segments, and customer opportunities. Guide market entry strategies and ensure sustained pipeline development across key geographies.
Oversee high-value domestic contract negotiations, ensuring strategic alignment and favorable terms that support long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, Production, and Quality to ensure alignment of sales initiatives with product development, service delivery, and customer satisfaction objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and channel partners, providing strategic direction, performance feedback, and ongoing support.
Serve as a senior representative of the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events, enhancing brand visibility and reputation.
Leverage CRM systems to manage customer relationships, pipeline visibility, and sales forecasting. Utilize SYSPRO to analyze sales data, align forecasts with production capacity, and support operational planning.
Review NDAs, partnership agreements, and lead opportunities to ensure compliance and alignment with company policies and risk tolerance.
Maintain subject matter expertise in the tablet compression tooling industry, staying ahead of market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
Qualifacitons And Requirements
Extensive industry experience in tablet compression tooling or related manufacturing sectors
Minimum 7 years in a sales leadership role, including director-level responsibility
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly SYSPRO, for sales analysis and operations coordination
Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) for pipeline management, customer engagement, and performance tracking
Proven ability to lead multi-functional and geographically dispersed teams
Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Business acumen with the ability to interpret complex data and translate into actionable insights
Executive-level communication and presentation skills
Strong customer orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships and delivering value
