Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Duties:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Ensure that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and food prep areas
- Empty trash containers regularly
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation practices is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Skills:
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on providing excellent customer service
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
