Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Tribal Environmental Program Manager, where you will lead innovative environmental initiatives that support tribal sovereignty, sustainability, and natural resource management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive environmental programs tailored to tribal needs. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, manage complex projects, and drive continuous improvement efforts to ensure environmental resilience and compliance. Your leadership will empower tribal communities to protect their lands and resources while fostering sustainable growth.

Duties

  • Lead the development and execution of the following tribal environmental programs, ensuring alignment with federal deliverables: 1) EPA IGAP, Corp of Engineers NAMSEI Program, NSF Coastal Monitoring, Brownsfield Cleanup.
  • Manage these multiple projects throughout their lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation using project management tools such as Monday.com, Company Cam
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among tribal departments, government agencies, vendors, and community partners to advance environmental initiatives.
  • Oversee requirements gathering, scope management, risk assessment, and quality control to ensure project deliverables meet standards and deadlines.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and stakeholder communications that clearly articulate project status, challenges, and successes.
  • Ensure compliance with tribal personnel and financial policies while managing budgets and controlling costs.
  • Proven supervisory experience with strong team leadership capabilities; adept at motivating diverse teams toward common goals.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings effectively and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.

Pay: $54,565.87 - $65,713.74 per year
