Position Summary

Native Sun Cannabis is seeking a motivated and experienced Wholesale Sales Representative to support our outbound wholesale efforts in Massachusetts. Reporting to the Wholesale Manager, this role is focused on executing sales strategies for Native Sun's cannabis products, building and maintaining relationships with key customers, and contributing to the achievement of company sales goals. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a passion for the cannabis industry, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to brand representation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new wholesale opportunities, prospecting potential customers and expanding the Native Sun customer base in Massachusetts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel at customer businesses, ensuring positive representation of the Native Sun brand and driving consistent sales at each location.
  • Execute daily sales activities, including cold calling, product presentations, negotiations, and closing deals to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Utilize CRM and sales software platforms to track leads, manage customer interactions, and report on sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, production, and retail divisions to align on product offerings, promotions, and strategies that maximize sales and profitability of Native Sun cannabis products.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, local, state, federal regulations, and Cannabis Control Commission guidelines in all sales activities.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and product development.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote Native Sun products and build brand awareness.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer communications, and inventory needs using ERP, METRC, and other relevant software systems.
  • Contribute to internal communication tools to ensure transparent and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Exemplify Native Sun's company culture and participate in initiatives to promote team morale and employee retention.


Qualifications

  • High School Degree required, Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience in sales will be considered.
  • 1 years of experience in wholesale sales, preferably in the cannabis, consumer goods, or regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of the Massachusetts cannabis market, including regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Google Suite, and sales tracking tools; experience with METRC or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to travel within Massachusetts as needed for customer visits and events.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check in compliance with cannabis industry regulations.
  • Passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to ethical, responsible sales practices.
