Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items with attention to quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently and accurately
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables and sanitizing workspaces
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring timely service during busy hours
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Support the kitchen team with basic food prep and ingredient organization as required
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables quickly while maintaining high service standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Background in culinary arts or food preparation adds value to your role
- Proven ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Experience working in a fast-paced setting like a café, retail store, or grocery environment is beneficial
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
