Locations: Assigned to either Addiction Treatment Sites (see locations below)

  • Residential - 17645 NW St. Helens Hwy, Portland, OR 97231 &
  • Outpatient - 355 NW Division St, Gresham, OR 97030

Schedule: This is an in-person position, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. Occasional weekends or evenings required.

Wage Range: $83,000.00 – $98,280.00 annual salary, Exempt

Position Overview:

The Adult Mental Health Clinical Supervisor provides clinical oversight of staff within the Adult Mental Health Program. This includes clinical supervision of therapists, behavioral health consultants, specialty case managers, and other direct services staff serving adults and families. This role ensures high-quality, culturally responsive care is delivered to clients, particularly within Native American and Alaska Native communities. Responsibilities include clinical supervision, quality assurance, and direct service delivery.

 

What you will do:

  • Supervise and support the day-to-day activities of therapists/counselors, students/interns, and behavioral health consultants.
  • Provide direct clinical services equivalent to half of the caseload of a full-time therapist.
  • Deliver culturally appropriate clinical consultation and advocacy, with a focus on Native American populations.
  • Implement culturally appropriate treatment models for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including clinical documentation review and audit preparation.
  • Review and cosign clinical notes of supervisees in a timely manner.
  • Provide orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training for clinical staff.
  • Provide crisis consultation and support on-call services.
Qualifications:

We would like to hear from people that have:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensed as a Mental Health Professional in the State of Oregon (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist)
  • Meets requirements as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) per Oregon Administrative Rules.
  • Must meet Oregon Administrative Rule requirements to provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinicians working toward licensure.
  • Completion of required 30-hour clinical supervision training in Oregon.
  • Must successfully pass the applicable Oregon licensing Board’s Law and Rules exam.
  • Completion of ongoing continuing education related to clinical supervision.
  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) in Oregon preferred.
  • Previous clinical supervision experience, including supervision of pre-licensed clinicians preferred.
  • Experience working within the Native American/Alaska Native community is considered a plus.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with clients and multidisciplinary teams in a respectful and culturally informed manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries and model ethical conduct.
  • Skilled in working collaboratively with diverse teams and maintaining a respectful workplace.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse populations.
  • Must pass a pre-employment or for-cause drug tests.
  • Must pass criminal background and DMV checks.
