Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose, isolate, and fix electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machinery issues.
- Equipment Calibration: Repair or replace defective parts, align assemblies, and update wiring safely on woodworking and production equipment.
- Facility Upkeep: Handle minor building maintenance including basic HVAC controls, lighting, and general plumbing or structural tasks.
- Inventory & Logging: Track labor hours, log maintenance activities into our tracking system, and report low stock on parts or supplies.
- Safety Compliance: Work in a manner that ensures the safety of yourself and others, adhering strictly to OSHA standards and wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing environments, or an electromechanical technical field.
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Tool Proficiency: Strong proficiency utilizing voltage meters, diagnostic instruments, hand tools, and power tools.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional diagnostic and critical-thinking skills to repair automated systems under tight production deadlines.
- Core Requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma/equivalent, strong work ethic, and a reliable attendance record.
- Pre-employment: Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
