Responsibilities
- Engage in precision machining, managing tasks such as shaping, cutting, and fabricating metal parts—50% of your role.
- Maintain and enhance production quality by ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Collaborate with production teams and subcontractors to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, making sure that machines are always production-ready.
- Perform preventive maintenance across a variety of systems including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyors.
- Contribute to building maintenance, ensuring the mechanical and electrical systems are up to par, which may involve working on fire detection systems, refrigeration systems, and more.
- Innovate and fabricate repair parts, using standard turning and plane machines, boring and drilling machines, grinders, horizontal mill, and engine lathe.
- Record and manage data using our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Proven experience and knowledge in the Machinist trade.
- Understanding of electrical and PLC controls, and able to read and interpret diagrams.
- Deep knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Minimum of a 2-Year Industrial Maintenance Associate's Degree or equivalent in experience and skill.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and an ability to work both independently and as a part of a dedicated team.
Salary : $31 - $35
