A leading industrial manufacturing client is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant machinery and control systems, with supporting mechanical maintenance as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical & Controls Maintenance: Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair plant equipment, PLCs, AC/DC drives, motor controllers, and motion control systems.
- Wiring & Installation: Plan conduit layouts, pull wire, and install/replace electrical components according to schematics and prints.
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute PM/PdM programs, log work orders, and maintain spare parts inventory with suppliers.
- Mechanical Support: Assist with general mechanical repairs, equipment upgrades, and contractor oversight.
- Safety & EHS Compliance: Maintain chemical/waste storage areas, uphold ISO 14001 environmental standards, and follow OSHA safety protocols.
Required:
- 5 years of industrial electrical and controls experience.
- Strong proficiency with PLCs, AC/DC drives, multimeters, and conduit bending.
- Ability to read complex electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Proven mechanical repair aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Journeyman Electrician License or Associate Degree in a technical discipline.
- Direct experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs/controls.
- Familiarity with CMMS work-order tracking systems.
Salary : $40 - $42
